Omg I love these! Never heard of them before but they have such palpable energy! I see so much within this imagery that speaks to the RWS , I don’t feel as though it will be hard to turn it into a tarot deck and it’ll be all the more personal a deck for it! Such a great idea, I look forward to seeing how this goes, really glad I came across your corner of KZbin! Hi Rhi, another rabbit hole for the avid lover of decks to look into 🙈😆 I'm not 100% sure how it will turn out, but it will be unique to me, that's for sure. As an oracle deck, I think they work really well as they come. Much like the Soul Cards. I hope the trees continue to bring you nourishment 🌻🌞🌿

Absolutely love this Toni. Honestly these dixit cards are so calling to me ever since I did my decks for children video. In that somebody mentioned them in the comments and I fell down the dixit rabbit hole. I think after no buy year I will also consider these so thank you so much for sharing them. I loved your dog playing in the background. Honestly I wouldn’t try and make a tarot, I think I would use it like the soul cards decks. Excited to see what you do with them though ❤️

Hi Candy. Aren't they just so much fun and intriguing. A very large rabbit hole indeed 😄 I agree, once/if I manage to complete a deck, the others would become an oracle deck like soul cards. They have a very definite feel for that type of use. It is most certainly a long term project to keep me occupied and out of trouble 🤞

There are many Dixit expansion packs but they use different artists. The Daydreams one is particularly good. I think the creator is a French animated filmmaker.

Thanks for sharing these decks. Love that you intend to select from both to make a tarot deck. Wonder how you got on? I did that with Soul cards 1 and 2. I have just bought the Dixit Harmonies pack which I think you might also like ... 🤔🙏🏻

Thankyou, I will check that one out. I found I couldn't quite complete a satisfactory deck with the 2 packs I have. I ended up with multiple duplicates for lots of cards 🤔🤷🏼‍♀️

Great video. I’m a spiritual director & Tarot counselor working with a variety of folks for whom Tarot is a bit too “woo” - and/but expanding the imagination and plumbing the depths of intuition is so crucial. So lately I’ve both been creating my own picture decks using common license images, AND Dixit. I have the original pack and am looking for some expansion. Eager to hear how your magpie “collage” deck has come together. xoxo

Hi and Welcome. That sounds like a fascinating job. Have you tried the Soul Cards1+2? I'm still curating this one. Life got a bit busy since in work, Sadly that gets priority. I thought my 2 decks would be enough, but I'm wondering If I might need another pack to get the full range of the deck meanings. Of course, it is finding the 3rd deck, to go with the decks I already have too. 🌻
