I can't say for sure. I wouldn't risk it.

You can, but I’d use e6000 glue AND before glueing down the trim , prepare the leather (only where you will be gluing the trim, not the entire boot) by rubbing it with acetone. Let dry and then glue down the trim with e6000. The acetone roughs up (deglazes) the leather a bit for the glue to grip better. The slippery leather can be tricky to get embellishments to stick long term if you are using glue and/or paint . It’s a similar concept to sanding high gloss paint before repainting , if that make sense. Good luck!

merrilew Thank you! This is such a great question. I wondered the same thing when I designed them. I didn’t have a problem with them at all. You just have to make sure they’re perfectly adhered and pressed with a heavy object.
