Well done on this video. Thank you so much for going over every detail, even clarifying what size of elastic that you used for this project. Having fun with this.

making this top right now, it’s great and pretty easy but i would HIGHLY recommend a rotary cutter like she uses in the video rather than scissors!

I made this top last year by taking your original triangle top and changing it!!

Hi!! I adore your videos! I'm curious if you use the wooly nylon thread in ALL of the threads or just for the Top or Bobbin threads... I've been hesitating to play with this thread but really want to because I have a TON of it! Thanks in advance!

I'm using a regular machine and am confused exactly where to sew the elastic. Should it be to the inside, directly on top, or to the outside of the seam? Also, should my stitch for the elastic, completely cover the elastic, or is it ok if it's more narrow than the elastic. Thanks for any help.

Add another, because you could cross the back on #5 instead of going straight over the shoulders.

Ok so i made this top and i did the elastic all around... didn't turn out very good at all, so i rewatched your video and noticed you had written that you didn't attach elastic down the halter part of the top... instead you stopped the elastic 3-5 after the base... I'm confused 😕 "the base of the halter strap?"

Great video as always, thank you! Do you disengage the knife when adding the elastic or are you just careful not to get too close to it?

i love this! Can bra pads be added in and how would I do that? thanks!!
@EdgewaterAve4 жыл бұрын
Yes! I personally like to use 3 layers of fabric. You may use a light weight fabric for the middle layer, or maybe even power mesh like used for sports bras. I made a video on the method I use: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g2a7pppjebiJjac

Am I right in thinking you didn't put elastic on the bottom edge of the triangle? I did this the first time and it's super bulky. I think I should take it out.

Hi. What machine would you recommend using and specifically a machine that's good for stretch fabric (such as bonbon material)
@EdgewaterAve4 жыл бұрын
A serger is invaluable for stretch fabrics & knits in general! For beginners I'd recommend the Brother 1034D
@froggiemakeup3 жыл бұрын
Currently, I'm trying to buy the pattern, but if you don't have a serger, can you just straight/zigzag stitch and then do it again when you put on the elastic?
@EdgewaterAve3 жыл бұрын
Yes!
@froggiemakeup3 жыл бұрын
@@EdgewaterAve I have another question (I bought the pattern :D) but with the elastic do you stretch it when you sew it down or is your finger just holding it so it doesn't sew on wonky?
