Great video! I installed over this past weekend, however mine have all different colored wires so I havnt yet done the wiring. Driving today and I get radar obstructed message. Mine is a 2019 Civic Sport. Anyone else have the radar issue? And what year is the car if so... I wonder if its an issue with the 2019+ styles, as the fog area was slightly changed starting in 2019...

This tutorial really helped me a lot and I just successfully did it! But a small problem, the turn signals from these don't synchronize with the lights from my car. The lights from the panels seem slower. Do you have any idea why? Thanks a lot.

Thank you for the comment and I am glad the video was helpful I appreciate it! Its hard to say for sure but these after market parts seem to have a bug on some of their units. The only thing I can think of that would maybe help is unplugging the batter for a few minutes and then restart the car. This might reset the timing and electrical.

Where does the green wire connect at 13:08? I have that wire but I don’t know where to connect it.

So the green wire is actually the yellow wire, when you remove the casing for the wires to get more slack the yellow wire turns green deeper inside the wire casing. So the only wire on the left side to connect is the yellow wire.

Same here, ive got a 2019 sport, just put these on and it blocks the radar for some odd reason. I didnt wire them up yet either and radar still says its blocked unfortunately

At the time it was a bit difficult to find quality lights but that was many months ago. I would recommend searching the model and year on amazon and see if they have any quality lights! Thank you for the comment.

Definitely something I'm considering! Have a few more upgrades planned like wrapping the car and painting calipers red. I'm also thinking about insulating the car also so its not as loud on the highway!

Depends on the trim you currently have but if its a sedan shouldn't have any problems. A coupe might have a slightly different design.

I followed the video exactly however now my back tail light (the same ones you have) don’t work like they used to. The tail lights don’t line up with the trunk lights when starting the car. What can I do to fix this?

hmm that is strange, weird for the rear tail lights to malfunction after installing front lights. I haven't experienced this but there is a delay with the connection. That's the only thing I can think of that would make them not line up. First I would disconnect the battery of the car. Detach the positive and negative terminals. This will allow the electrical system to reset. Detach and leave for 5 min then reattach the cables. After reattaching test the lights and see if that works. If not check the connection of the wires and make sure that are connected properly and not loose.

I would say no because the Hatchback has a different design on the fog light panel. The only way to be certain is to check the panel design for the sedan like in the video and then the hatchback to see if they match or differ.

You can its just less safe as those jacks aren't the best. But I have done many things with those jacks when it was all I had. Just proceed with caution and stay safe. Thank you for the comment!

Yes, The way I use works every time that's why I do it that way. I have used the t taps in the past and sometimes the connection doesn't hold up.

@@ccalvo291 Good question! that has happened to me in the past. Make sure its connected to a spare with the proper power. If the fog lights generate more power then the fuse can hold then it will pop the fuse. First test how much power the fog light require and move the connection to a spare that can support that power.

It depends, if you have a hatchback they wont fit but if it is a sedan yes. I believe the EX-T has the fog lights already so that's a plus. If I were you look at the front fog light panel if it matches the sedan it will fit if its a much wider design like the hatchback then they wont fit.

@@denztorre5000 correct, for some reason the turn signal wont receive power unless the headlights are on. If you have the lights on they will work. At first I wasn't a fan but now I like it as the lights will last much longer and I can always turn them on during the day by turning the lights to the on position. This will help prevent the LED from burning out prematurely and have more control when running the new setup.
