It's been my experience that the adhesive on the command hook should be given time to set before hanging anything. Hanging something directly after applying it to the wall will probably result in it falling.

I've had experiences of them not sticking to particular surfaces and rarely have I had them fall off when they are on but I don't put many under a heavy load nor have I ever hung anything of value with them, such as skateboards. Hence where my slight paranoia comes from lol! Thanks for the update!!!
