Hehe I am a Parkside fiend, all my power tools are Parkside, my pressure washer I bought for £20 is from Aldi and I have the Aldi multimeter but everything else is Parkside with the cordless dremel kit, the same drill as in the video, impact driver, grinding and belt combo, air accessory kit, spray guns, even a couple of the big metal cantilever toolboxes got Parkside on 'em. I have had the drill for years now and it is still as good as new, batteries seem to be spot on as I charged my dremel tool something like 3 times last year and I use that a lot for polishing, the drill rarely needs a charge and impact driver being a 20v battery holds charge for ages and I can whizz wheel nuts off, do other stuff and doesn't lose a bar on the charge.

Parkside batteries have built in BMS but DO NOT HAVE LOW VOLTAGE PROTECTION. If you over discharge the battery then the BMS chip will lock out and you will not be able to reset the chip. They call this a safety feature. Your battery is then only good as a cell donor. Ferrex batteries from Aldi have low voltage protection.
@ErCanEverything2 жыл бұрын
Once it happened, it showed that it was charging, but it wasn't really charging the Phone. I measured the total voltage was below 11V. and I thought it wouldn't charge automatically and I would load the cells separately. But when I plugged in the Parkside charger, it automatically started charging. True, there is no protection. Therefore, you should not wait for the yellow indicator light to go out completely🙂

That is not 20000mA. Its impossible to have 20Amps from 10 cells .
@ErCanEverything2 жыл бұрын
1 cell is equal to 2A. 10 x 2A = 20Ah at 3.7V. Why power bank with 5 cells of 3.7V can be 10 000mAh, this one can't be 20 000mAh at 3.7V?
@smartpaco83602 жыл бұрын
Yes that's right but is not 10x 2amps . They are in serial connection which means that the current remains 2 amps . In your case it's 4amps because you have connected 2cells in parallel. So . 2 Amps × 2cells = 4 Amps. Which is your total current . Then you have 3.7v × 5 = 18.5v which is the total voltage. Then you need the total power which is 18.5v x 4000mA = 74 w. Then finally your charging current is 74w/5v= 14.8 Ah or 14800 mA. That is your real current for the usb plug. If I am wrong correct me
@ErCanEverything2 жыл бұрын
You are absolutely right, I agree. I think you'll tell me 4Ah, so I answered you. But a power bank for example 10 000mAh is not really 10Ah. (3.7 x 10Ah = 37W) 37W / 5V = 7.4Ah but they write that it is 10Ah. This is in the forefront, unlike standard power banks, this one doesn't have that many losses. Because it does not convert from 3.7V to 5V or 9V, but decreases from 18V to 5V, 9V or 12V

@oberst_krass2 жыл бұрын
@@ErCanEverything that is't correct, my friend. If you want 20.000mAh, you have to solder the cells parallel. - In line only adding the voltage - parallel only adding the current/capacity 😉
@ErCanEverything2 жыл бұрын
@@oberst_krass Then I will say so. 10,000mAh Power Bank = 37W. This Parkside Battery = 74W. When you charge with 3.7v Power Bank it draws 4.2A from there to bring 9V 1.67A to the phone. But when you charge with 18.5V then draw only 0.84A and at the output you get again 9V 1.67A And so I can safely say that this is the equivalent of 20 000mAh😉
@oberst_krass2 жыл бұрын
@@ErCanEverything No, you can't. You forgot the time. 10.000mAh mean, you can discharge 1 hour at 10 A or 2 hours at 5 A or 4 hours at 2.5 A and so on. You have always to multiplikate the current to the time. It can't become more. To your example: 10.000mAh is not 37 W. P= I x U W= P x T You mean 37Wh. A powerbank with 10.000mAh should have maybe 5 parallel cells with 3,7 Volts and 2000mAh. 3,7V x 10.000mAh = 37Wh The Parkside: Every single cell 2000mAh. It's always 2 parallel (2 x 2000mAh = 4000mAh) and 5 cells in line. So: 5 x 3,7 V = 18,5 V 18,5 V x 4.000mAh = 74Wh If you use an element to change 18,5 V to 3,7 V , you take always 18,5 V from the battery. You have to calculate with 18,5 V.
@ErCanEverything2 жыл бұрын
The important thing here is that, I can charge with this as much as 20 000mAh Power Bank even more. Because the conversion losses from 18.5V to 9V is significant are low compared to the conversion from 3.7V to 9V
