thank you. for plain paper cardstock I get it on amazon (links in description below the video) the floral one I got it at Joanns. hobby lobby, Michaels and Joanns have a lot of cardstock packs/ single cardstock and I usually stock up once they have really good deals going on. (in store)

don't put so much, just a thin line will do fine and it will hold (:

in order to use those two buttons, you have two select two images at a time. because you will be aligning two things, and as for slicing also make sure the two images are overlapping each other, - if they aren't touching, than theres nothing to slice if that makes sense.

I'm a newbie and I keep having to pause and rewind. Can you further explain why you put the rectangle at the top after you added the scalloped sides?

never mind, I know what youre talking about. okay so you know how the circles are round, and I need the top of the banner to be a flat straight line? well a TINY bit of the circles are overlapping the top, so I had to insert a rectangle, select those two circles AND the rectangle together, click SLICE. so now the top of the banner/scalloped banner is completely FLAT vs having two little round bumps on the sides from the circles. 2:36 is the time you're talking about? also theres a setting option you can click on it on the video to make the video go "slower" so you can see what I am doing. I hope this helped!

@@Zhannastar ok thank you for clarifying! Also I wanted to ask about the 11x8.5" rectangle that you made at the beginning of the tutorial. Once you insert the triangle it seems to disappear. I slowed the video speed down and it helps a lot but makes you sound totally drugged or drunk, lol.

@@KentandAdam thats just like guide lines for me. so regular piece of paper is 11x8.5 so thats why I added that rectangle to see how big I needed to make my bunting banners so I can fit two on one page (: it only disappeared cause I clicked on the little "eye" on the right side - where it shows the list of the shapes/items you have working on, and when you click on the eye, it puts a line over it and it hides the shape with ought actually deleting it, incase I need it back to use it again.

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. I tried to type in the cardstock paper size just like you did (11x8.5) and it automatically changes it to 11x11. The same happens when I try to type in any custom size.

when you click on the square on Cricut design, look at it, usually on the bottom left corner of the square there is a little lock, well click it, the padlock will be "unlocked' that way you can have different height and width. you can also click on the same lock where you type in the measurements, the lock is right above it . when its locked it matches the height and weight to the same number. sorry for late reply I got sick so I stayed out of my office lol

there should be a speed setting on the video itself you can choose a slower speed. might have to mute it though music might sound funky lol
