This video demonstrates 3D printed Nema 17 based peristaltic pump. Pump is fully customizable, you can use any available silicon hose, Nema stepper motor & bearings. Maximum flow with 9/6mm silicon hose reaches 70 liters per hour.
The latest version of the pump has a movable carriage mounted with spring loaded screws. This allows Nema 17 motor to drive 1.5 mm thick silicon hose, i.e. OD=9 mm & ID=6 mm, at 450-500 RPM with the cheapest A4988 stepper driver.
3D models & source files are available on Thingiverse www.thingivers...
Arduino firmware is available on GitHub github.com/Phi...

I would like the pump to have a preset volume and every time it is opened, the screen will show start. the same value will be poured when the button is pressed. If you would like to change the preset volume right under the start function you will be able to do so .If calibration/testing is needed I would like to find every other function on a menu folder called "settings" Could you please make this program It will help me out a lot

Initially I used silicon liquid/spray lubricant to reduce friction & hose wearing. However, it turned out that the liquid lubricant "washed out" grease lubricant from bearings. So now I do not add anything, just put the hose in and start pumping. I have not noticed any accelerated hose wearing without lubricant. It usually holds 2-3m3.

Hi, you do not list what screws and springs you used. Could you tell me please? I printed the pump but don't know how to put it together.

Hello! You can use almost any. Initially I took springs from automatic ball pen. Later I have found these on Ali www.aliexpress.com/item/2053018943.html

Hey really good Video, we have built your Pump with your Parts from Thingivers. Really good construction. But it is not tight enough for the vacuum. We thing it could be the wrong Silicon Pipe... Do you have a Link for it? Thanks

Hi. I use hose from local manufacturer and it is ID/OD = 6/9mm with 1.5 mm wall. Something like this aliexpress.ru/item/1005001458532612.html

Also you can increase a gap between stator and carriage by taking off some plastic from carriage with needle file. Sometimes there are blobs that wont allow springs to compress the hose completely
