I’m at 41”. In case you were wondering. I think this is my favorite channel on KZbin. You have a beautiful family and are raising them right. Reminds me a great deal of my own. I also have 2 girls and a son. Even their personalities are similar. I’m a Jeep guy myself so I always have a few around that need something done to them. When my son was younger we were always buying old snowmobiles and fixing them up and getting them running again. I first started watching you when you were working on that other camper. Great series. Yes we have 86 Chevy Midas we are freshening up. It only has 39k on it and we only paid $1500. You seem to have great problem solving skills. I know you could have figured that other camper out with some time. Much easier to do in your own driveway! Once in a while I watch your old stuff where you also also show your problem solving skills. I suspect that you’re quite intelligent although I’ve been wrong before.(joking) I always look forward to new episodes and projects that you release. I think before you started a new barn you should have bought a larger property so that you could have a larger test track. How kool would that be??? Also, there is a guy who is in Tennessee, bleepinjeep, on KZbin, that would be kool to collaborate with when you start working on the 4x4 truck. I suspect there may not be much there that you can use if you’re interested in making it bulletproof. Keep up the great work! Enjoy your family. Those kids grow up way too fast, I know! All y'all put this old Minnie back together and have it looking like it's gonna be a nice ride for this summer trip coming up. There is no truer statement then...everything takes a lot longer then you think it's going to. Daily trip to Lowes sounds about right for this project. What a fun spring break project for y'all to work on. Hopefully progress has kept moving forward with everything else that's going on around there. Having rebuilt several campers and a few houseboats myself I understand the work and investment that goes into these kinda projects and you really are giving me a different perspective on attacking things in the future. I’ll admit at first I was skeptical but you’ve really surprised me. (On a side note) I know it’s not my time or money and from what I understand you got the Durango for the drivetrain buuuuttttt a 3rd gen Hemi with a something like a turbo or ProCharger would sure make for some super cool content. 😬

I have dome RV repairs and remodels for some time and I would suggest Butyl Tape for the windows not silicone, silicone is good for stationary sealant, campers go down the road and suffer twisting and turning, silicone isnt designed for that, and will split from the surfaces bonded to when moved around leaving room for leaks.

Watching these camper rebuild videos reminds me of when my Dad and I and my two uncles and cousin Bob added to the existing cabin on my Uncles 26'-0" boat. We extended the cabin to the end of an existing roof thereby adding four additional bunks to increase sleeping capacity to eight as well as a new enlarged galley space. It came in handy for those weekend fishing trips on Long Island Sound. Enjoy your " new " camper and many happy road trips to you all !
