If I were you i would just connect it to a 12v power supply rather than connecting it to the laptop, because I think it could damge your laptop im not sure

@@Nitish.x1 i installed them where my laptops internal fan is located in an orientation that they will suck the air so they will work with the laptops internal fan dont install them to blow the air into the laptop that will disturbe the laptops internal fan

What is size of pvc pipe?

Grey is usually schedule 80 (thickest ones at a hardware store). Looks like its 3/4". The longer a pipe is the more it will flex if you push on it. Sch. 80 looks nice, but is pricey and overkill. Any PVC at 3/4" shouldn't flex or bow at this size. The stuff thinner the Sch 40 might feel light. Adding weight to it would be cheaper than using pricey thick pipe. (put some gravel or pennies in it, or roll up a magazine.

USB outputs 5v computer fans run at 12v. Many 12v fans will spin at 5v but too slowly to do much cooling, Anywhere from 5%-30% the rated speed. You can find 5v usb fans if you look hard enough.
