Why a 1” hole cutter (vs. a 3/4”)?

I attached the bridge to aerobars that had 1" outside diameter. So I wanted to cutout to fit the aerobars.

1. If you don't immediately know how you are going to make and drill it WITH BOTH HOLES ALIGNED/PARALLEL, notice he has not shown you the kluge you will have trying it without Skills(c). 2. $10 (min) caliper + $15 Lenox hole saw to make a $20-30 bridge...when the store-bought will actually solidly mount. 3. Why would anyone do this...I have the calipers, the hole saw, and 2 thicknesses of PVC lying around and pass, pass, passity, pass.
