This is very inspiring. Portable HEPA workstation can be made for plant tissue culture.

I think this is a solid base design to adapt for use with different, commonly available, non proprietary, economically priced air filter media - eg HVAC and automotive filters. Getting replacement filters is the real problem with expensive, over engineered, air filters sold with the business model of forcing customers to keep paying for overpriced filters that only fit a product that goes obsolete in a few years. A cardboard ninja design is flexible enough to fit with whatever is on hand. One other benefit of this design is that people can use PC case fans & PSUs (with adapters) - which are generally economical (especially salvaged from older PCs). There are also some sophisticated low noise and high static pressure PC case fans eg 'Be Quiet, 'Noctua' with optional RGB bling. Finally - another reference for an economical, flexible, non proprietary, air filter design is the "Corsi- Rosenthal", but that uses larger, noisier fans & standardised commercial HVAC filters, and is more appropriate for industrial & commercial environments.

What are the measurements for the cardboard !

Do you mean thickness? Because if you mean the size of each piece it tells you as they cut and put each piece together

facemasks doesn't filter longitudinally, it deflects the air though the gaps between your face and itself
@bishopp14 Жыл бұрын
Wait what does that have to do with this video? Maybe English isn't your 1st language and your point is getting lost in translation but you're coming off as an anti-masker. If you're suggesting that this wouldn't work because air can't pass through the material the mask is made of then you're 100% wrong. If you're talking about how the mask, (when worn on the face) allows some of the wearer's breath to exit between the mask and the face then sure. Some air does escape through the sides but it's significantly less than without the mask and doesn't shoot across the room as in normal unmasked breathing. Not that it's relevant to this video since people don't typically glue masks to their faces anyway. (If so, you're doing it wrong)
