I don’t the odds of you seeing this but I need help! I have a snake collection that is rather large. We put a green tree python male in the room and he has brought us mites. Now I know mites is usually not that serious as long as you clean everything and everyone but I have a gravid boa and Iv hunted all over KZbin and Google to see how I can treat for mites on a gravid snake. She’s 8 feet long so she’s not little by no means.

This is a hard one for sure. U could hold of until she giving birth and treat her .. This is the less risk way of doing it. I don't have a lot of experience when it coked to mites and pregnant snakes. I would say try I preventamite. If it don't effect the mother that much ? Obviously if shes about to lay I would hold off but if its going to be more than a week until they hit the ground I would treat her but again it is up to you. So sorry I could not help you more

IMO you really need to work on your turtle and fish game. You're the king of snakes and decent with lizards but you seem to go out of your way to break the turtle and fish rules. All turtles in the slider family like to get out of the water at times so a basking spot is important. When turtles go into the water they have a specific gulp of air routine. When you plop them directly into the water it is very uncomfortable for them and in rare cases can even drown them. Just chucking turtles into a fish aquarium is not seeing to all their needs which seems to matter to you.

My wife bout scared me to death this morning...She was a screaming at me to get up, so i jumped up thinking something bad has happened and all it was is that somehow a baby rat snake had got in our house and was against the wall next to our bed.. My wife was going nuts...lol...well all i done was gently grab it and i took it outside and let it loose along our fence line in taller weeds... This is a great question.. chicken eggs are hard and made different to snakes eggs.. In reptile eggs, the embryo will attach to the side of the egg. So If the egg is turned/ moved it can do a lot of damage.. this is because , the embryo can become detached from the shell etc. I hope this helps

That is so sad your son has to deal with that. But please remind him that they only wanna knock him down because they know how successful he can and will be in the near future. All he is doing by quitting is letting them win. I really hope he rethinks this and decided to show them that they can't knock him down any. Very good question.. I have about 400 my self . It depends on the type you have and also the sex. Females will live a lot longer than males A female Mexican Redleg tarantula (Brachypelma emelia ) can live for 35 years . Males will noamlly live for about 7 - 8 years. I Hope this helps. -

Get Lori to build this for you. She fixed the leak on Salt and Peppers tank, if I remember correctly. Lol. What was Cheeto supposed to be dressed as? Cheeto was going with the flow, he is cute. Add a couple of doors and shelves and you can store some food or snacks in the enclosure.

I recommed against a open lid toad tank? Id be worried about theft and chemicals on peoples skin who want to pet him. What about a bioactive praying mantis tank?

hi brian and lori i just wanted to wish you an happy anniversary, i saw the vlog that you let your mellow yellow snake and the lizards free and put the camera on your tortes free with the go pro cam. that special thing you did with the autistic children and their family was very great that you did that you should do that every year .pick a day each week around autistic awareness month so lots of children and 1 day for adults too. and try 1 day for visually impaired day where you you use your legless lizard ,turtles, iguana, bearded dragon, etc that has raised scales that they can feel if you chose a snake i would might suggest is your dalmatian snake...she seems mellow.and also your scaless corn snake .i thought that was neat to see too and the little bumps reminded me of Braile. i felt that reptiles have lots of bumps and and spikes that as they are touching them you could describe them the way you do in your vlogs . when you describe colors you must say if it is a cool color like blue is a cool color and red is a hot and yellow is hot sauce color and white is cotton so on so forth i got that idea of the color description on the movie mask. i hope that might inspire you cause i know how it is to have a "learning curve " and how to "think outside the box" to understand things.. this will give the kids a better understanding of the world and that will stay with them forever. have a great day and stay safe and also stay awesome !!!!

I hope they're not getting that tarantula out and letting kids hold it. That's just a recipe for disaster. It's really not good for the tarantula to be handled alot. It's very stressful and a kid could easily drop it and kill it.

I went to look at a red eared slider at my SPCA and they told me I needed a 75 gallon tank!! They had one there and it looked enormous. I really don’t even know if I would have room for that. I decided to leave the turtle :(
