I agree - great tutorial! I’ve watched others but you made the whole process look more achievable for my 2006 S80..will do that job soon, as the message I receive with the battery warning light is “Power System Service Urgent “..thanks again!

i'm having no luck with the lower alt bolts, the top bolt was already broken off before i bought the car. i've been trying for a couple of yrs now, i wanted to install a new regulater. the alternater still works but at 230K miles it will not last forever. exactly which tool did you use for the alt bolts.

Can some one help? So I have a s60 01 2.4t with 89k miles but I have never seen one like mine. I have wood Interior, leather, sun roof, cool and heated seats. But it's a 2001

I'm ramping up to do this as the shop quoted me $800-$900 to replace mine. I saw another video where they just removed the passenger headlight, turbo hoses and unbolted the power steering motor to access the alternator. They didn't have to drain anything.
