The fact it isn't hollow makes the buttons and stick so much more quiet. I love this! I wouldn't wake my child by playing fighters anymore. I gotta go get a router now!

When I first started to watch this, I thought "why not just build a hollow box with MDF and go from there, but as I started to see the arcade cabinet take shape. Man you really have working with a palm router down to a fine art. I like the way you used a piece of aluminum to make a circular template. Very cool. Nice job, well done sir!

I highly recommend building one instead of buying one since you can reuse the parts later if you want, you could also put a raspberry pi inside the box, so you can use it standalone if you wanted to (optional).

They should make snap on buttons for thicker material. I had to get those screw on buttons because mine is 3/4 inch thick all around. Good job sir.

Unfortunately the Pi can't play the more modern arcade games well. Even midrange PCs will play quite a few of the modern ROMs like garbage.

With that size, you could add keyboard directionals just above the circle. And would be all in 1. Arcade stick/hitbox/keyboard xD
