Very clean set up! The only concern I see is if you cook with stove under the tarp the gas tank for your vehicle is on that side. For safety the other side would be better. Just a thought. Thank you for great invention! Lovely..

j'ai fabriqué des "channels" en "C". un fixe et un amovible, les 2 "c" viennent se coincer par l'intérieur des barres de toit du véhicule.

What do you do when it rains for run-off? Needs to be able to slope.

I just put my hand under the awning ( in the middle ) and the accumulated water goes away, and the car is not often on level ground anyway.

How's it held on the vehicle?

I made 2 crossbars ( square tube ) that engage into the car's front to rear rack. I made "C" channels that fits over them, one fix, and the other that can slide . I think I'm gonna make a video !
