Funny, but back in the day, people who needed a suitcase and couldn't afford good quality bought cardboard suitcases. So they were a thing....

Very useful diy…I have one like it from the late 60’s. It was card board covered in plastic. So not much different…just vintage. . So….the screws? Perhaps root around for shorter screws that would fit the handle?? Or use a reinforced tie handle? Matching ribbon to the Doll stays or Leather strap? Or a covered wire hair noodle with a longer covered replacement wire threaded through the inside and reinforced with washers so the wire doesn’t chew up the cardboard. Thanks…your channel is inspirational even to a senior like me!!!😉 I remember with great fondness my Barbie Days💞

Maybe the screws can be cut shorter with a hacksaw or take one of the screws with you to the hardware store to find shorter screws that are the same circumference. I love your videos so much! Please, keep them coming! 💜💜💜

The easiest thing to do, is cutting the point of the screw before putting them in place, measuring the excess

Ooooo....so many possibilities with this suitcase for dolls!! By the way Olive, about the screws problem....just look for short screws that have the same diameter as the ones that don't fit properly. All screws thread in the same direction. So they're interchangeable as long as the length is correct and the diameter matches....

The way you measure and piece everything together, and the way you glue, only a person with an extensive ART background can do what you do.
