DIY BAROQUE STYLE FRAME | CREATE 17TH CENTURY STYLE FROM A BASIC THRIFTED FRAME

Hello everyone! I hope your holidays were amazing and you full enjoyed them! Today I am taking a basic frame that was found very cheap at the thritft store and turning it into a baroque/rococco style french frame with just a little bit of paint and wooden overlays. Enjoy!

Beautiful. I saw another video where a print was “painted over” with clear PVA glue in random brush strokes and it made the print look like a real oil painting.

Hi Linda! Nope, I used metallic craft paint from DecoArt and it covered the surface very well. On some surfaces I do like to add a wax or a sealant on top however it was not needed with this project! I am so happy you enjoyed 🥰
