I have a bead related question. Is it best to use acrylic beads over glass crystal? I just tried making a beaded dog collar with 6lb fire line with crystal glass beads and it broke so easily when I pulled in it. Do I need a stronger fire line or are the glass beads an issue?? Hello, I would recommend you make use of plastic instead of glass beads, however if you want to try glass then try bigger size of the thread probably 0,8mm.
