✿ Hey beautiful! It’s Gina from orchidandopal.com. In today's beaded jewelry tutorial, I will show you how to make a beaded bracelet pattern, which is inspired by the contents of the Pumpkin Festival Collection by Eureka Crystal Beads. Even if you don't purchase the entire collection, you can find everything you need from their online shop, in all sorts of colors.
The Keystone Bracelet pattern incorporates Nib-bit, SuperDuo, MiniDuo, and Seed Beads. TIP: Alternate two colors of Nib-bit beads for a wavy look. Or, use Nib-bits in all one color, but use a contrasting SuperDuo color to make the center channel stand out. Please see below for the full materials list. Enjoy!

Another gorgeous creation to add to my 'to do' list. I need to order more nib bits. Ordering beads is definitely not a hardship for me, unfortunately. Lol. Thanks for this wonderful tutorial.

Made one with gold and red nibits with gold and black accents. Couldn't find the red to match. Do you plan on showing us how to make a necklace with this? I think it would be stunning!

Love it!!! I can't wait to make this. In some of your new designs you use the samos par puka beads, I was wondering if I could substitute Iris duos instead of the samos. Also I was curious to know where you purchase all your 2 hole beads that are not available on Eureka crystals. I'm sure that you have done your share of comparison shopping and if you buy them on Etsy, which store has the best value. Thanks for all you do and I can't wait to see the tutorials from your last finished jewelry update, those bracelets were stunning.

Hi Lynn! I am so glad you love it! Great question - Etsy can be very overwhelming since there are so many sellers, and factors to consider - shipping, who has what, etc. I can tell you QueenCityBead is wonderful. I have also had great personal experience ordering from DanishPrincessBeads, southpassbeads, and BeadPassionStudio - it will just depend on what they have in stock. I also order from PotomacBeads.com sometimes, but I have a designer discount, so that affects my decision for random purchases, to be honest. Regarding the Samos - I think you could probably adapt the patterns to the Iris, but they taper more at either end, so you may find that they are too small, and may have to add in a 15/0 on either side, as an example, to make things work. Thanks again for watching, and for your questions! :)

Awesome video - question - would nymo thread be able to be used instead? I have a lot of size B but none of the thread you're using
@ORCHIDandOPAL
@ORCHIDandOPAL 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Patty! You should definitely be able to use Nymo thread. I just prefer the Fireline due to its strength and longevity, etc., but another beading thread is fine, as long as it isn't monofilament. Thanks for watching!

@@ORCHIDandOPAL why not monofilament? Thank you for the tutorial.
@ORCHIDandOPAL
@ORCHIDandOPAL 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Zhanna! Monofilament isn't thread-like enough, so it won't fit well through the beads/on a needle, and you won't be able to do multiple passes through the beads. Also, long-term, mono-filament can dry rot, so it's just less durable. Thanks for asking! 💜
