For the ruffle sleeves... do you do the same hem on both sides and then just pull the thread on one side? Or did you hem both sides differently?
@ForeSeeLove6 жыл бұрын
Jossie Avila Hey Jossie! I only hemmed the straight side of the sleeve (1/4 " ×2). Then I did the base stitch for gathering on the other side without hemming, but after I attached the sleeve to the armhole I did overlock/zig zag stitch the raw ends to clean it up.

ForeSee Love 👌🏼 got it! I am going to attempt ruffles so thanks for clarifying 😘❤️

I didn't have enough fabric for the ruffles so I left that off but Mine came out great!! Thanks! 😊

The music makes it difficult to hear the instructions that you are giving. Other than that I think it’s a great video.
@ForeSeeLove6 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I'll take that into consideration for future videos. Thanks for watching!

Instructional videos don't need music, especially this loud.
@ForeSeeLove5 жыл бұрын
Hello ogochukwu! Totally understand. When I made this tutorial I was still fairly new to editing and starting this channel. In my recent tutorials the music is not as loud and I make sure that my voice/instructions are clearly audible. I've seen tutorials with and without music. I've even seen some with written instructions only and music. I guess it's all just preference. Thanks for the critique though and for watching. Appreciate you stopping by. 😊

Such a pretty dress. But this wasn’t beginner friendly at all. It’s kinda fast and not detailed enough for a newbie. Please in future videos . Tone it down
