Thank you for this! I'm about to make my first set for a fundraiser so I've watched tons of videos, all with varying techniques and styles. While the super produced videos are great, I love yours and feel like I'm sitting in your kitchen :) I usually have a hard time sitting through tutorials more than like five minutes but I watched the entire thing and feel prepared to finally start mine. Do have an opinion on using a backwards letter mold, or a regular one?? I’m new to this, so I’m not sure which is best…i would kinda want to see how it looks from the front, but I’m not sure if there are benefits from doing it backwards. Would love to hear your opinion!

Hi.. this is awesome.. what is the name of your resin? I tried the letters but they came out sticky.. also how do you tell if there's enough in them.. I didn't get the letter "E" very well

This was great. Just take masking tape to clean the resin drips…much easier than picking them out

Cute👍🏼 although I’ve been pouring resin for years , I would not recommend doing this outside…. Resin is a magnet for anything flying in the air….. I do recommend using PPE and having all windows open… and /or air purifier etc….. just be safe.

Awesome tutorial! One thing that I would like to mention is that you call the resin epoxy in the video. A person that I know loved your video and ordered a mold, flowers and a gallon of epoxy which is glue..

MONTESSORI CATHOLIC: those measuring cups are a bit bigger than the standard, at least they look like where you pick them up? that Epoxy resin what is the hardening time on it? reason asking I Tried "Let's Resin" Epoxy Resin and took 7 days to harden and still was able to dent it with the fingernail. I Only bought cuz Azmaing Clear Cast has a strong order, the bubbles are meh, but the curing and hardening is faster way faster, Let's resin has no order and no bubbling but I'll have to go back to amazing clear cast and wear a mask. And you made a very Nice Set of Flowered Letters now I know how much epoxy resin i need to mix for the whole Alphabet ty👍🏼✨

sometimes I sand them if they have a sharp edge. I use super fine sand paper

you might not have mixed it long enough

Could be many reasons. You did not mix well, tres minuts, scraping the sides and then for being sure, put the resin in another container and mix for other minute. Could be the resinnis old. Or is the kind of one to one parts instead of others what use another amounts. Could be the weather is very cold. But if is still liquid, probably is no hope. Trow the resin, I mean remove very carefully from the mold. If is very sticky, use acetone to finish the cleaning. Sorry for the english, I speak spanish. In Mexico City. Blessings.

Do u check on them as the epoxy is curing to push them back down. Air bubbles can make them move

What you can do to prevent that is put a thin layer of clear epoxy at the bottom of the letter and then place the flowers the way you want them. Then after an hour or so pour the rest of the resin onto it

I think the moisture from fresh flowers would not be good for the epoxy. Maybe if u dried them first??

Hi Bianca, Either the resin was not mixed well, the mixture was not measured the same or used too much paint or alcohol ink.
