How do you clean up the inner material/thread within the holes after you punch the hole?
@coloradocords4paws5502 жыл бұрын
You can use a very small pair of scissors you can find them in the sewing are in craft stores or you can use a lighter but you need to be careful with the flam. I have used it on a very light flame but I like the scissors best.

@coloradocords4paws5503 жыл бұрын
Hi I have never used them on colors before but I am looking into it now and I’m going to order a few things and use some of the materials that I already own and try it out and then I’ll be able to get back to you with a better answer. It really looks pretty simple from what I’m understanding you can use the punch that I show in this video to make the holes to put the rivets in.

That punch is waaay over the top. just an ordinary rotary punch will do the job easily. It's lighter, can easily be used one handed and has better leverage too.
@coloradocords4paws5504 жыл бұрын
I tried a leather punch and it did not work for me, it just dented the bio thane. Many people will use an electric drill but it's not a very clean cut That is why I recommend the heavy duty hole punch. Because Bio thane has a nylon webbing core some will also use a heat punch but I can recommend that because I have never used one. Also so will use an air puncher but again I am not familiar with it. The heavy duty punch has worked for me with little little clean up
