Not sure if my vines will get brown before our hard Michigan frost. Can I still cut and expect a good harvest? They are large.

@@JulianeMcdavid Hi Juliane! If your squash, or pumpkin is fully ripe and has changed color, and frost is upon you, yes you can cut it. If it's not ripe yet, I would cut it and bring it in your house. Store it in a warm sunny room with good air circulation to allow it to change color and ripen. Then store in a cool dark location for long term storage. Great question, thank you for asking. We appreciate you stopping by! -P&J
