WOW.. what a great project.. great to have equipments such as 3D printer ( I believe are still expensive) and the spot welder for the batteries.. I wish I have those too..

There is many cheap 3D printers and it work good enough for this kind of projects. Yes, it will print 2x more time than 20h but anyway you will have your parts. FOr batteries there is cheap welding machine. And most cheap option - regular soldering iron 80-100W and soldering fast. Do that many time and all work perfect.

@@LionPlush That 3D printer did the whole thing in about 16 hours, so having a printer that will take >24 hours... might as well just make your own enclosure out of wood or something else, and add a vinyl wrap around the outside. I was always told soldering batteries was not good, because it heats up the battery which is bad... Yes it is possible but not ideal!

@@TheSpotify95 yes, box possible make many ways. But anyway slow 3D printers cost not much. And yes, weld batteries better but if you not have a welder - soldering fast with powerful solder iron work good too and whole batteries not heat, just local contacts.

Yes, I've already tried soldering batteries but looks "unprofessionally" done, much better with the spot welders.. maybe I can try some low cost DIY.. do keep on inspiring DIYers..

Great bluetooth speaker... shame there's no way to also be able to use the AUX port on the amplifier board (I know a lot of phones/tablets don't have this anymore but it is still a nice feature). Also can't believe how much stuff you have lying around in your workshop for projects like these... :D If I did this then I would have to hand-make my enclosure as I don't have a 3D printer, nor do I have a spot welder for batteries...

Platinum channel has been doing this content a year ago... But platinum channel is showing or telling every parts or device that he use on his diy boombox.. unlike here... Im guessing (what is that device that he uses on rgb strip?) and the rgb sound bar.. did he remove the microphone? If he does... Wher did he connect it so the rgb sound bar can react to the sound?
