Thanks. I had to get into mine to do a jerryrig repair on one of my windshield brackets. And amen on the caution of handling the map light screw! Drop mine a couple of times, but retrieved it, phew! Amazing about the "copyright" issues with the music.

Kirk, Excellent videos sir! I have a question about a 2002 K1200LT. I am having a problem removing the right upper fairing. It seems stuck next to the compartment in front of the drivers seat

Kirk - on my 2006 LT, there is a black rectangle blank spot on the left side of my dash that would accommodate an accessory my bike doesn't have. Question - will that blank rectangle simply pry (snap) off?

My 08 LT does not have that cluster. It looks like the cluster bulbs can't be changed out? Just 2 large plugs on each side of the cluster.

I just bought a 2006 and the dash has the LED integrated in it. The manual says if defective it has to be replaced as a whole. Mine glows on once in a while (very nice though) but most of the time it remains dark. I removed the two wire plugs, sprayed with contact cleaner, dried with compressed air added some dielectric lube and plugged it again. I did glowed at the beginning but no difference: it came off again in a while. Any idea if somebody had the same problem and fixed it other way than expending $1,300 plus in a new cluster? Thanks in advance. Jesus. Note: I'm in South Florida and I guess the sun has something to do with it.

Hopeless prices on that webstore. 5 led bulbs 10 dollars.. Thats ok, but the Its shipping of one tiny little envelope to Norway: 80 dollars. There goes my ambition of getting me these Nice leds.
