Thank you for this tutorial. I am just about to embark on making 2 bolsters to put on either side of our travel trailer bed. I am very grateful for the detailed explanation as to how to get an invisible zipper installed. I've been fretting this whole thing and your tutorial takes all the mystery out of the manufacturing of the bolsters. 👍👍💖💖

So I rewatched your video. If you measure the circumference of your end pieces would you had an inch to your fabric width to allow for a 1/2” seam allowance and for the zipper? Example if the circumference is 20”around I would cut the width of my body fabric 21” width and length plus one inch?

@@MimzyandCompany hi, I sew quilts and am now trying to do free motion....lol, a challenge. I also make bags and pouches and have done square n rectangle cushion covers. I may try and do night school to learn dress making. I am taught by you tube and books. I love my hobby and thankful for it especially the last two years. @@christong9868 I love quilting! My mother in law is a prolific quilter and shares my workroom with me. It's her quilts that you see in some of my videos. I wish I had more time for quilting, and dressmaking for that matter. I'm sorry to hear about your husband, how shocking that must've been. I'd love to take some classes myself to learn more skills. I took a night class at an adult trade school for upholstery a few years back, it was so much fun! I love to learn and sounds like you do too. Thanks for commenting.

Thank you for your amazing tutorial videos! Love them! At this moment, I am making a bolster pillow and have a question that is stumping me! After sewing the cording on to the round ends, I measure around the circumference of the cording (or take the diameter x 3.14) for the body fabric to go around. BUT, now don't I need to add 1 inch to that total so I have enough fabric for a 1/2" turn under edge that each side of the hidden zipper attaches to?? If I just measure and cut the exact circumference, I won't have any to turn under for the zipper!! Though I see your 1/2" ironed edges before sewing the zipper, there's no mention of adding this 1" total to the fabric cut. What am I missing?? Thank you!
@MimzyandCompany
