DIY Bonsai pot, Crescent moon-shaped.

Tutorial on how to make an Eggshell or Crescent moon shaped Bonsai pot.
I use Stoneware clay and show you how to make it easily. From start to finish.
The planning, shapeing, drying, bisque fire and Glazing.
To make your own Bonsai Pot is rewarding!
You can both choose the shape and color that suits your tree.

The Crescent shape is perfect for slanting style or Semi cascade style Bonsais.

Thank you Oki! Yes i like the colors too. Sometimes the glaze turns out to be totally different from what you planned. It seems that Earthenware is more "glaze.safe" than Stoneware, but thisone looks good. Cheers! Mika

@@clayeasy Used to live in Alaska. Traveled around a lot for work. Even in Panhandle there was only 4-5 hours of semi dark periods. Much further north ZERO. Yes when I make one I’ll try to remember to send a photo your way.

Tackar! Jag prövade att göra en liknande utan ställning, men det är betydligt svårare. Om man använder korv- metoden ( pölse-metoden?) går det ganska fint, bara man har möjlighet att kontrollera torktiden. Hälsningar från ett blåsigt, isbelagt Finland! / Mika
