Thanks for a great video! I made a gold lamé tie for a gig tomorrow. I found that a largish pen cap worked fine for the blue tube for turning the tie inside out. Just be sure to push the chopstick into open end of the cap.

Hello! This video has helped me a lot, I've recently starting making myself ties because I hate paying ridiculous prices for ties. I've run into a problem though, I notice that something similar happened to the tie in the video. Once I sew all around the pattern, the "tails" tend to twist from the fabric and facing shifting ever so slightly. Do you have any idea how to avoid this?

Yours didn't do it as much as mine do sometimes. Sometimes they do it a lot, sometime not very much. It doesn't effect the tie when tied, but I'd really like to perfect this.

Make sure your fabric is cut on the grain line and your interfacing is thick enough.

I've spent $$$$ on "Brand Names" but always had to select what was available. This is another option never considered. Can get MY MATERIAL, WOOL, use a cutout based on your instructions & allow my dry clean tailor do the sewing. Thanks, you're great!
