I sit here and look at all your doing to your home and how just amazing it all turns out. Just amazing the things you can do. I found your channel when you redid your stairs and have went back and watched a lot of older videos enjoy looking at these types of videos and am so glad I found you. I want to at least change out my lights in my kitchen and the way you have explained and showed how to do it I feel I can make this happen. I am not good at even painting lol but want to try to do something to make my home more elegant. I just love your channel and wish I could do half the things you can do ♥️

Hi! Looks awesome! I am really impressed with your design eye. The brick wall looks so cool too! I was thinking you could change the hallway 1/2 wall to a railing, then you would see the whole hallway when you look up the stairs, and more natural light would come from the rooms to the stairwell. 😁

Don't you have to turn off the breaker before you start changing a hard wired light fixture?
@KelseyRomitoDIY Жыл бұрын
You don’t have to as long as the light is off but it’s always a good idea.
@ibmimi2566 Жыл бұрын
Oh my gosh girl, you should have cut power to that light before you switched it out - I'm so glad you didn't electrocute yourself! The lights are beautiful by the way 👍
@KelseyRomitoDIY Жыл бұрын
Thanks- I did cut the power before I installed the light, just didn’t include that part.
@monymony68 Жыл бұрын
I thought you’re supposed to turn off the power before working on electrical?
@KelseyRomitoDIY Жыл бұрын
Yep. Should have included that. If the light switch is off, the wires aren’t live and you can touch them but it’s best to turn off the breaker.
@jilltaylor6716 Жыл бұрын
Please flip the breaker off…or at least test the wires before you touch them. Some people have some funky wiring. If you get electrocuted I’ll never get my house renovated!😢
@KelseyRomitoDIY Жыл бұрын
🤣🤣 I appreciate the concern. I tested the breaker before I changed the lights.
@29028ft Жыл бұрын
OMG TURN OFF THE BREAKER JFC! And if you’re going to tell people it’s “super easy” to do this (which, in many cases, it is) AT LEAST tell them to TURN OFF THE BREAKER. Just switching off the power at the light switch is SUPER DANGEROUS.
@KelseyRomitoDIY Жыл бұрын
You’re right- I should have included that. The breaker was off but I turned it back on to test.
