Did it hold well? I’m planning this for my Halloween costume but will need it to last at least 2 wears

Oh it held really well, if I had not taken it apart it would still be like that today. I put lots of pins in it though to hold the bottle to the cap. Just add as many pins as you need and lots of hairspray. Mine lasted through this video and the next day a photoshoot. :)

If this wig is not meant to be reused could you just hand see the bottle/net to the wig and save the bobby pins for securing the hair?

Absolutely you could sew that bottle to the wig, in fact you could hot glue it as well if you are not going to reuse the wig or the bottle. I reuse my bottles for other looks, but you can definitely do that.
