I'd love to see Brad Mondo react to this lol. I'm watching videos like this to try to gain some inspiration to color my brown hair ginger. I have virgin hair and my hair dress wants over $600 (not including any tips) to color my ashy brown hair to ginger. My hair is only shoulder length so paying over $600 to lighten my hair a couple shades is outrageous; so i'm gonna watch as many videos as i can and do it myself. Your hair looks great at the end even though your methods were very questionable so i'm feeling pretty confident about this. Great job!

I watched a video from Hair Los Angelos in which the hairstylist used 40 vol. Developer, good red color, strand test first, foils over every little section, a little blowdryer heat, starting with the ends for 35 min., then catching up the roots for another 15. I think one should slather hair with coconnut oil first.

Wow gurl you look great!! If I were you I would use a colorb4 or any kind of color remover, then a color shampoo. It would be a little gentle to your hair, but you solved it pretty good! Suits you very well. Reminds me Merida the brave 😍

Uk doesn’t have bleach powder? That would’ve been your best option. Also you have A LOT of hair 2 kits wasn’t nearly enough for your hair. You need to really saturate your hair with lightener. I also believe by your statements you had previous box dye. It would’ve been a good idea to get a color stripper. Just some friendly tips for next time!! It did turn out really well despite all that tho! I guess in the end it didn’t need to be that light to achieve the color you wanted! This color really suits you!! You look gorgeous 💕

What’s fantastic about ginger if you have pre-bleached you’ll always have that solid red base so it’s really hard to fade. In fact impossible it’s great x

Next time just wet your hair with the shampoo and bleach mix and it would have really gone even and you could of even done that twice to make it lighter xx
