I've been considering converting a trailer into a full time living space and these are BY FAR the most helpful videos I've found. Thanks for sharing this build! You are a total badass 😎

Do you happen to remember exactly how many/what size insulation your purchased? I have the exaccctttt same horse trailer as yours! Hoping to insulate next weekend!

If you use a credit card or a stiff plastic card as a squeegeeing tool it helps to flatten the tape down. No finger cuts

Yes that would work. I just used a piece of insulation board, that worked too!

Can you please tell me what type of screw’s you used. I know you did this a while back but redoing my trailer and your video rocks!

I know they were 1 1/4” but I can’t remember if they were galvanized or stainless steel. I was worried about moisture corroding them. Even though they were self tapping, I did have to drill pilot holes.

If you weren't using this type of insulation any idea what you may have decided to use instead? When doing your research what did you reference to? Very nice build and thanks for showing it.

The pink, blue or green, foam board (polystyrene?). I did my research and poured Over the files from the Facebook group “DIY HORSE TRAILER CONVERSIONS II”. Other insulations will degrade or get moldy, so no white styrofoam, no bubble-wrap, no pink fiberglass, no spray foam. You need the “dead air” space as well. I hope I answered your questions. 👍
