These are so simple, clean and functional! Some people don’t use cash as often for larger purchases (like groceries), or prefer to pay via credit card--but I think that the pocket would be very useful for receipts or coupons! Love that this is in a mini! Great idea 💡!

I love the concept of the cash system it has really helped me understand where my money is going. Started about 3 months ago. I found myself taking from other envelops. Oops...next week I will be trying Jordan Page's system basically simplify and not have so many different envelops. Love your videos.

Love your cash envelopes. One of the things I did, was took a legal size envelope, decorated it with washi, punched it and put it in my classic HP. It fits perfectly. If you have a mini planner, just use a regular size envelope.

Totally gonna make these, I think I will cut a tab out at the top on the front of the envelope and use washi inside the top back of the envelope, to make it easy to differentiate the front and back of each envelope.

Now I need a mini-happy planner just to use these printables😂 usually I buy accessories for my planner...this will be the first time that I buy a planner to use with accessories. I’ve never used an envelope system either...and I usually only have cash when other people give it to me b/c I’ve used my card for lunch at work or something, lol...but this seems like a really great/streamlined way to be more thoughtful about spending. I actually made my own as well, I didn't do an actual video on how I made them, but I got my idea from another KZbinr that made the same ones I made in the Recollections zippered planner (which I use as my everyday wallet). The cash envelope system is a great way to be mindful of how you spend. Great creativity by the way!

Looks like you put the washi over the punches instead of on the edge of them in your test run. However I like that idea better because it reinforces the cash envelopes as the flipping back and forth of them with money can cause them to tear easier. I like the cash envelope idea but not fond of carrying cash so I opted to use 5 prepaid cards through my financial institution. I labeled each one accordingly and each month I have the funds automatically transferred based on the amounts designated per category. Only thing is it has to be in increments of $20.00 but I’m ok with that. When that money runs out I wait for the next month just as you would with regular envelopes, making sure I’m not overspending. I’m considering using the paper cash envelopes for smaller sinking funds like entertainment and dining out because I only want about $15 in those. TFS.

Great idea! Though maybe you can have the option to have the words oriented the other way for people who like seeing them that way (i. e. "groceries" turned to the outside of the page and not inside). Basically have the words orientation be flexible. TFS!

I actually have a nylon wallet from Burlington that I use which I can take outside or leave inside my home. It is black so if my husband has to use it he isn’t embarrassed. If I carried the household budget $$$ I would be tempted to spend $$$ on things not planned. When I get mentally stronger I will be better. But for now that works, my husband loves the way everything get paid and he can see it.

If you don’t already have these can u make envelopes for these if u choose:Gas, Church (tithe/offering/benevolence/building fund). Then under personal care add (laundry/hygiene). Or possible make a template where customer can type in their own. Just random thought of what I would love to have 🙈
