You could also take a poster size photo of yourself, family, or friends and do the same. Or just different sized photos of yourself, family, and friends put them on the canvas. Maybe even some mixed medium canvas art would be neat as well.

oil paint takes a very long time to dry, acrylic is best for canvas.
