@@missminilife Your very good using what you have and there is nothing wrong in using ods & ends @Miss Minilife 😊 Your cardboard house decorated with snow, stars & chear rice lights would make the start of a great Christmas village and you could even dress it up further with the house being made to look like gingerbread with sweets & decorations on then wolf could be having a chomp on the ginger bread tiles or candy canes or swirly lollipops 😉 xXx ❤ xXx

I'm still trying to get caught up on all your videos, you are amazing. This wolf is beautiful. I really enjoy watching you, but your kitty always makes me laugh. Keep up with all the before Disney fairy tales, they were so much cooler. I love altering books that are trash bound. I have a library full of books I save to reread and collect, and boxes full of books that were going to recycling or trash that I pretty much got for free or very cheap at a thrift shop. I finally got over feeling guilty, because they are getting a new life. Thanks for sharing your talents.

I really wish they would rename Baking Soda and Baking Powder to something a little more different! I have definitely mixed them up in my baking before lol!! Absolutely love the little cardboard house and your wolf is perfect!
@jaredrichardson78
@jaredrichardson78 3 жыл бұрын
As a chef, I have to admit, I forget the difference and mix them up often. Baking soda and powder are essentially the same, but baking powder has one or two more things added to it so that it gives a second burst of CO2 in the oven to give a "second lift". Honestly, I hate using either and I've found in some recipes, specifically cookies, that they are not needed and no one notices when you leave it out!

I have grown fond of foam board but this is so cool to see what cardboard can do too. We really do have materials all around us! The book base and trees made with the pages was genius. I have problems with hot glue strands too. When I am done with a line of glue, I push into the material first and scrape the nose of the gun before lifting it away. It's an ok solution as it works like 60% of the time.

This is a great project! I love it. So, I offer two fairy tales. The one I'm currently obsessed with is The Swan, found in the Grey Grimm Book, and that is because it is a wild tale that doesn't know what it really wants to be, so it tries to be everything, and you gotta give a gold star for trying. The other one is Momotaro, which is this huge epic rescue the princess type story with a boy who was born in a peach, and it's got a lot of charm to it.
@KensanOni
@KensanOni 3 жыл бұрын
@@missminilife Oh, no! The Swan is like a horrible story. It goes all over the place, and it opens up so promising, and... it goes places. Oh, the places you will go! I am fascinated by it because I want to fix it. :D

I have a few children's poems & songs from my childhood that I still love. 2 Christopher Robin quickies I will write are. When I was 1 I was just begun. When I was 2 I was nearly new. When I was 3 I was barely me, And when I was 4 I was not much more. When I was 5 I was just alive, but now I am 6 I'm as clever as clever. I think I'll stay Six, just for ever & ever. 😊 it is from the A. A. Milne poem book. "NOW we are six" The second is Christopher Robin talking about either his little brother or friend. Btw young children back then would have worn shorts not trousers lol If I were John & John were me, then he'd be 6 and I'd be 3. If John were me and were John, I shouldn't have these trousers on!

I'm trying to figure out how I could use a old hardback copy of the book and have the book stand upright so you can see the cover and still have polymer clay pieces coming from the partially open book. Keep in mind I've never worked with polymer clay in my life but this a bucket list life goal for me. :) LOL

When I get the strands from hot glue I use a hairdryer to get rid of them. It’s just hot enough to get rid of the hairs and not hot enough to melt the glue I want to keep. (Provided the strands are thin).
