DIY CARPET CLEANING | I Cleaned My Carpet Myself + Spring Cleaning + Fresh Home

In today's video I walk you through my process for cleaning my carpet myself. I recently realized just how dirty my carpet had gotten and remembered watching a video from Brandon of the channel ‪@CleanThatUp‬ and have wanted to try it out ever since.
I rented a carpet shampooer from Lowe's and used a pump sprayer to pre-treat my floors before going back through and rinsing out the solution with the machine.
I cannot believe how much dirt came out of my carpets! I took this as a lesson learned that I should be cleaning my carpet much more frequently (that is, until I can replace it with hardwood floors! :)
For now, my home feels much cleaner and the carpet no longer has a grimy feel when I touch it.
