DIY Cat bed made by sweaters

I made a cat bed out of sweaters.
The cats loved it, I could reuse old sweaters and cushions, and I could make any design I wanted.
It's easy to make, so please give it a try.

What a great upcycling idea! You always say you're bad at sewing and than sew adorable things. I love that there were even beds for Koyu and Hama. The all three piling into the bed together was so sweet!

Look so good, I will make two of them for my two cats; like you said with old cushions and sweaters. but I'll make it a little bit differents, one of my cats prefer more like a cave or nest; the other will be like yours. Your family looks good. :)

Very clever idea to stuff and stitch the sweaters as beds for the Cats and they smell like you guys, that’s a bonus! Lol they seem to have a vendetta against the purple sweater, as if they said hey this is an excellent toy not a bed, the two stripped cats, one is a Manx, they’re a bit crazy over each other. The hiddy holey rug looks like fun, I’ve been thinking of getting on for our cats. Thank you for sharing.

Olá... Amei a ideia que você nos trouxe.😻 Sou do Brasil, da região amazônica e gostaria de saber se seus gatinhos marcam território com urina? Tenho aqui em meu gatil 45 gatos castrados. 10, são idosos de 17 anos e não marcam território. Vivem em um cômodo separados dos mais jovens para ficarem em paz. A marcação de território acontece entre os mais jovens com faixa etária de 1 ano até 5 anos. Procuro manter o gatil sempre limpo. Retiro os dejetos 2 vezes por dia das várias caixas de areia e as caminhas, redes e futon são lavados toda semana ou antes, se percebo que estão com urina. Acredito que esse comportamento seja devido a pouca idade, mas você teria alguma dica para me ajudar a pararem com as marcações? Amo seu gatil❣ Compartilho sempre seus vídeos com minha turma de amigos gateiros. 💞🐈💞🐈‍⬛🐈💞🐈‍⬛💞🐈‍⬛💞

It may be that the kitties are marking their territory and then everyone else needs to put their pee scent on top, or maybe someone pee’d and the smell is drawing everyone to do their business in the same places. In the states we have products for removing urine and any remaining smells, one is called Natures Miracle (and other brands, I like Natures Miracle because it doesn’t smell). They have enzymes that eat the organic matter and detergents to wash it away. The secret is to be sure to saturate the entire area with the enzyme solution and let it dry, any remaining odor means it didn’t get enough, so a repeat cleaning is needed. There are KZbins on how to make the enzymes if your pet stores don’t carry it. It is expensive, but it works. Good luck!

You should check videos on KZbin from Jackson Galaxy. I think he sometimes talk about marking and how to help cats stop marking outside the litter box. Maybe some cats are feeling insecure about their territory?
