That was so worth it. I made something similar for a friend's cat over 20 years ago and it wasn't as smart as yours was but the friends cat really loved it which was a big relief. Your cat tree is beautiful and your cat seemed to love it and doesn't care that you made rather than bought it for her. I personally think home made is ten times better than shop bought, but that's just me! God bless you and those you love.

DIY I think yours looks 100 times better than what they were selling. Yours looks if this makes sense more realistic like giant flowers. I don’t know if it’s the shag rug that you use for the base like grass. The other one just looks so blah after seeing your finished peace. I absolutely love it if I had the money I’d hire you in a minute. Decorate my apartment. I have a great imagination, but don’t have resources or tools to really do any of that.❤ it’s really amazing❤

I think that yours is better looking & better quality. Because you made it your made certain that it's completely sturdy, and safe for your cat Fig to scratch at without any possibility of hurting or damaging her - Fig's nails. For all you know with the $350 version, your cat could've hurt her nails & or nailbeds catching on hidden nails or staples under the jute/twine .. Excellent job 👏 👍 Fig looks like she loves it so it's absolutely worth every single penny you spent & the hours it took to put all together ... ❤ I've got no doubts that Fig loves you for thinking about her, for going out of your way to come up with the concept, finding & sourcing all of the materials & then putting it all together.
