I am so glad I found your channel and your repo, might build something similiar one day but I think I ll use just a valve instead of the pump and let gravity do the hard work for me

Thank you! Best of luck with building your smart garden. Just keep in mind that most solenoid valves require a minimum pressure differential to open. So unless you're drawing water from a tank which has a fair bit of static head, I recommend looking into some DIY servo assisted ball valves. We have a project coming soon which utilises some of those 😉
