I’m using your plans to make this in wood tech at school. What is the depth of the actual long strips that you cut to make the checkerboard pattern?
@MakingHomeBetter
@MakingHomeBetter 3 жыл бұрын
Wow. Glad to hear that. It is roughly 3/4 inch.

I got it from the cut of bin at the local lumber supplier, so was not very picky/selective.

Nice work. How hard was it to cut out the foam for each piece. I’ve shied away from doing that because it looks like it would be hard to do.

@MakingHomeBetter 18 күн бұрын
@@BrandonCabanillas I unfortunately do not. This was a project that I just kept on improvising throughout based on materials available. Not a difficult project , even though it may look intimidating.

What are the dimensions?
@MakingHomeBetter
@MakingHomeBetter Жыл бұрын
It's roughly 24x24 inch. The size was not actually a pre planned dimension. Rather it was derived from the size of stock I picked up

No, unfortunately not. It was a project truly based on some lumber I found, and just added things as I went along.
