I used to make the Christmas Ball of lights since I was in High School 20yrs ago. My mom loved them when we would go to Candy Cane Lane to see Christmas lights. I found how to make them in a Craft book my work was selling. They are so easy to make, I also would make little Christmas trees with Tomato cages using Garland , and lights. They looked so cute!!
