every year i go to my aunts house and the whole family makes wreaths. not only is it fun but it feels nice knowing you made something. plus aunt lives in the forest so we use trimmings off her trees that would otherwise be thrown away

Hi there, I have a quesiton. How long do the trees branches still green and fresh? I'd like to make some natural wreaths but I don't know if it's worth it making them fresh or still buying plastic ones.

@@witney15 we make ours during the first week of december (actually in exactly a week from today) and they look green and fresh until at least early january, often even longer. even once they dry out and start changing colors and drying out, they still look pretty nice for a couple weeks. mind you we get the branches cut at most a couple days before hand

You can make the wreath with other things if you don't have access to a forest to get greens.

It lasted beyond the season for me!

They dont last long. They dry out, the needles drop and you have a bare wreath form with a couple sticks stuck in it. I am cool if you want to spend your time doing it but it may be better to get the artifical wreaths for $5 . They last forever.

Those needles will fall entirely off within about 72 hours

@@HaleyIvers I do but in the winter the leaves fall, o maybe if I travel a bit there's some pine trees. But they're only on the mountains.
