Due to the pandemic, a lot of magazines has discontinued their sales in my area. Magazines and books are my only way of entertainment before I have any internet connection. I feel sad when I had to miss my monthly magazines... they have been with me for more than 10 years. Seeing a magazine with a cool appendix like what you've shown brought back the memories. One of the magazines did publish a kirigami appendix that when assembled, turns into a replica of Himeji Castle. I spent months collecting and assembling the parts. It turns out pretty great and it made a good backdrop for my Gunpla. Best moment ever!

@@jsc It sounds good, but pretty hard to make. When I got the parts complete in my magazine collection, I spent hours on cutting, fitting, and gluing all the pieces together. I only stopped to get food, sleep and do my daily prayers. But when I finished, I was shocked to know that the contest they have for those who finished it and took a picture with the replica, has ended. I didn't participate in the contest, but I still have that replica to boast to my siblings.
