Beautiful Could i use a small size lily cutter for the petals?
@4tclayflowers8175 жыл бұрын
lynne camozzi i don’t know about what’s kind of size do you have, because it need some size, so you can try, maybe it will be beautiful 🥰

@@4tclayflowers817 sorry I wasn't very clear. I love how you can cut your paste by 'eye' I'm not good at that. Perhaps I'l try with a daisy cutter for the smaller petals and shape as you do Then use different size lily cutters and shape how you do. I'm inspired to try it soon. Many tutorials have put me off trying a dahlia but you've made it look so simple :)

Since I'm new to working with cold porcelain clay oh, I have a question. Is that glue you have on your hands to glue it to the bud? Or is it lotion? I finally just figured out that I can't keep adding lotion to my hands when I'm working. For whatever reason, I guess when I've seen videos of cold porcelain being made, I thought you had to constantly lotion on your hands. And to my horror I realized the clay kept breaking down every crack and crackle LOL I really appreciate your channel. Thank you so much for sharing. It's amazing that you can do flowers. I mean truly amazing! It's irritates me so much to see anybody dislike this. I can understand it. Must be jealousy. Anyways you truly know what the flowers look like in your able to create them! Your real artist!

I make gum paste flowers but I want to try making Polymer Cay flowers. What do you dust your flowers with? Or do you paint the flowers? Can you tell me what best brushes. dust or color to make the color last the longest? Thank you a head of time.
@4tclayflowers8173 жыл бұрын
You can use big brush to dust your flowers, small brush for painting. i just buy random, it's not important.

Is that chalk that you are using in this video? I'm trying to do figurines and flowers. I watch youtube videos, but most are in spanish. I have no idea what they are saying or using. Love watching you.
