My grandpa said....there are two things you pay good money for....Your boots and your mattress, because you spend half you life in your boots working and the other, sleeping on your mattress. He was a farmer. Your video made me remember that conversation. If only we could make life that simple. Just sharing. Love you guys so much!

Barron sniffing the mattress and getting “high” was hysterical! Also, I’m so happy that you had someone to talk to and help you process your emotions. I too went through something similar (like so many others) and am sending big virtual hugs. ❤

As I was watching the first few minutes of this video, I noticed how lovingly you captured Max. And I had the thought that you were showing us part of your own grief by how you were showing your tenderness towards him. Thank you for being so open here. It's a real gift to give the Internet and all of us who care about you, even though you don't know us. ❤️ Ps- I also have a baby Max who is 9 months old now and we had him after two years of IVF. Sending love.

Wow! What a Sunday. I've had Hannah Lee Duggan, Isabel Paige and now Elsa and Barron to indulge in. Sometimes I feel like God loves me extra special. To Elsa, your tears are shared as is your grief. We love you, sweetheart. I cry for you this day. 30 years ago my brother lost his 6-month-old son Cameron. I can tell you that while the pain does subside, the grief carries on as we carry the loss with us until it's our time to revisit our loved ones again. You're in my heart. Please find peace.

The couch is great! It's so nice to see people going back to designing things in accordance with their needs as opposed to what society has been telling us, which is that you need to have your house looking like it belongs in Architectural Digest even if most of the space is wasted and it's filled with stuff you never use or look at. You aren't building a house. You are building a home - inside and out, and it's beauty is that it will reflect the amazing couple that is creating it 🥰 Always with love and blessings from Eastern Ontario, Canada ❤🤍❤

Another thing you should keep in your vehicles is the 'space' blanket. The shiny silver blanket for keeping warm, or reflecting the heat, depending on your need. I have multiples in both our vehicles in case there is a need for others besides ourselves. They are good for so many things and will fit in any small corner of your bag or glove box.

I love the spirit of you two together. Elsa, I've not met you but your transparency on your range of emotions is endearing. When you shared your innermost thoughts on the loss and grief of your pregnancy, I found my eyes welling up for you as well. I could sense how you were feeling and I am hoping that you and Barron's wishes are realized sooner rather than later. Wishing you the best there is yet to be and your home is filled with enough! Dana is a sister when in need, and I am so pleased she was there when you needed her, and you for her. She's quite the gift! Just to think her gift was also a gift to you and Barron! You two needed this visit...Enough...

that day is very significant and important as is all those moments, when you found out you were pregnant, when you lost your angel, your due date and all of those emotions in between and in the future. heal from them but never forget them. you have every right to grieve the loss of your child, lost in the womb or in life, the number of days, weeks or years doesn't matter. a loss is a loss. remember them in a year, in 5, in 10 that hurt will never go away, do not allow anyone to make you feel like it's not important or valid, including yourself prayers and love ❤

Life is an adventure! Sometimes not the way we expect, but life non the less. So good that you had someone to share those feelings with! Take it from one who shares this trait, don't over think things, moment by moment. My first child happened at 37 and my second at 42. My son wished on a falling star, of course he got a sister instead of a brother, who knew?

It’s baffling to me, after losing a baby in a similar manner to you years ago, my body somehow knew those grief anniversaries viscerally. Time would pass and I’d forget what day it was, then suddenly start feeling really sad, and would realize it was a grief anniversary. Be gentle with yourself as your life moves on, and let yourself feel whatever you feel. 💜

Lovely video!! I always love Barron gear talks/show and tell. I learned to carry a small sledgehammer and a piece of wood from a crazy adventure in Central Oregon. We got a flat tire (not usually a big deal as we have a spare) and the dang wheel was rusted or something to the car. Even with all the lug nuts off it would NOT come off!! Finally a few hours into trying to figure out what to do, a very nice person showed up and helped us. They were rockhounding and he had a big sledge hammer and a piece of wood to protect the rim of the wheel and we used it to beat on the wheel until it finally popped off. We had our little kids with us and were wayyyy out in the boonies. It was so stressful but lesson learned. We were prepared so it wouldn't have killed us to have to set up camp but idk what we would have done to get out of there.

These videos keep me going lately - I've been watching since the beginning of the Scamp days, but lately my girlfriend and I are in the process of moving out for the first time on our own, both about the launch into exciting but challenging new careers in a new province for the both of us. We're both mega minimalists with challenged pasts of mental health, etc. and pretty much only the tools for our work and our cars to our names. We don't have much, but we have each other, and watching you two just fills me with excitement for what's to come! Thank you Elsa and Barron :) you guys rock!!
