i've been following you on tiktok for a while now, and im inspired to say the least. seeing all my dream gowns in my Pinterest board makes me want to make unique gowns in my style. can you possibly do like a beginner series? Like how to use a sewing machine, the basics of dress making, where to get good fabric and stuff like that? I reallly want to get into sewing

Hi! This is beautiful! I've been wanting to make a corset for myself but I love this pattern and style. Is there a fabric I can use thats more structured so I could wear this on its own?

Try a coutil! It can be kind of expensive and hard to get a hold of, but it works really well for single layer corsets! Any tightly woven fabric would work well as well, I have found luck with non stretch cotton duck or canvas fabrics

It is a different size! I also do not have it laced all the way down. But the mannequin is a size 10/12 and the corset is a 6/8

Hey TIP HOOD, if I were you I would try cutting out the pieces with cheap fabric or even paper haha and either taping, pinning, or lazily stitching them together to try to see if they work. Then, like a puzzle, take it apart and try a different arrangement if your first attempt doesn't work.
