Hi Loren, there are several ways to hold both hook and yarn, none of them is right or wrong, as long as you're comfortable. Thanks for watching, Anja x

Hello. Well. What a great tutorial. I haven't seen a better step by step guide for how to line a crochet bag. And I have never seen the join as you go method you employed when joining the panels. I will be referring back to this video again and again in the future. Thank you for the step by step instructions. You are quickly becoming my go to crochet instructor!

I make a lot of bags. If anyone wants to make the strap rather than use the webbing you can do it similar to when you make ribbing off the edge of an item. I'll try to explain as simply as I can but feel free to ask any questions 🙂 Attach ur yarn (or don't & sew on by hand last) & do as many chainless foundation SC as long as you want the strap (I find approx 70/75 pretty good). Slip stitch at the other side, then ss to the next stitch along (like you do with ribbing) & SC back up the CFSC you made. Slip stitch again when you reach the other side, then ss to the next stitch & SC back again (so, go back & forth slip stitching 2 x at each end/where joining to bag). CFSC plus 2 more rows SC is what I normally use for a regular bag, but making a giant laundry bag lately I did the strap with 5 SC rows (including the CFSC). I hope this makes sense!!!!!
