I washed mine in regular cycle and it still looks very good. It did stretch a tiny bit. Hand-washing will prevent the cut-outs from stretching! :)

i did this today with my old black shirt and it actually came out really good! it was very frustrating to cut out every piece but the end result was amazing!! i love it!!

i did this...and i stitched on a white fabric behind it, and drew a pattern on neon-yellow skulls and similar patterns :3 it looks amazing :D

do the squares stay that neatly defined even after washing the shirt, or will the strips of fabric in between each square roll up?

You could also put the cardboard inside the shirt where you need to cut and use a material razor to make it easier instead of using scissors. :)

i've never done this one, but i have cut up a lot of shirts in similar ways. They stay exactly the same, as long as u wash them in cold water, on the gentle cycle, and do not ever put them in the dryer.

Question about the cross: If a fabric band breaks, do you think there is any possibility to, i don't know, patch it up? I just did one yesterday and haven't wear it yet, but some "fabric bands" between two rectangle are too "thin"..
