DIY Custom Adhesive Stencil no CRICUT w/Household Items Easy Sticky Stencil w/ Tape & Wax Paper

Using simple household items and tools I make Custom Adhesive Stencils. I have taken a peel and stick Kilz paint sample and wax paper and 3M Easy Release Blue Painters Tape to create adhesive stencils. I used a chip board letter to create one of my stencils and a shape I drew freehanded for the other. You cut the stencil out, peel, stick, burnish and paint. This technique is that easy. No need for utility knives, expensive Mylar sheets or even a CRICUT to create these Custom Adhesive Stencils. NOW I finally get to see how the ones with waxed paper are made. I don't have a cricut, and they are SO pricy, so, I'm always up for finding other ways to make my own stencils for my wood art that I sell. Thank you. I'm going to try this. I have so many ideas for Christmas ones to make for an upcoming November craft show I'm doing.

Sorry you were confused. The idea is to make an image (by tracing any image, a letter or a heart etc.) onto an adhesive paper. I use the sticky paint samples or blue painters tape. The first thing you will see me use is the sticky paint samples. I trace letters which I will then cut out and stick onto the object I want my letters on. Then I paint over them. When the paint is dry, I peel off the sticky letter stencils leaving a clear painted letter in it's place. Here is the link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bHWkZaN-a7N0p9Usi=BNr1Zq6Ca5bikkAN Then you will see me use the painters tape to create a sheet of adhesive paper by lining up the blue tape so they are connected as one whole sheet. I use was wax paper for the backing. Then I have made cardboard templates of decorative designs that I again trace and cut out. Then you stick the blue painters tape designs to the object you want that design on, paint over it, wait till dry, then peel it off. You are left with the design painted on your object.
